How did you get involved in lumberjack sports
I started timbersports when I was in college. Competing on the collegiate level at Paul Smiths College.
When did you begin participating/competing in STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®?
I began practicing for the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® series when I started competing professional in 2012, but 2019 will be my first year competing in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® series.
How do you train for STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®?
I train by doing lots of stretching, cardio, working out and doing the events.
What’s your best/strongest STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® discipline?
My strongest event is the single buck
Any advice for collegiate competitors?
Advice for upcoming competitors would be to train hard and often.
What’s your proudest moment in the sport?
My proudest moment in the sport was winning the endurance race at the 2018 Johnny Appleseed competition.
