11 years.
How did you get involved in lumberjack sports and when did you start competing?
I got involved after a fellow competitor, LaVonne Mikloiche invited my then 10-year-old son to learn the sport. So rather than spectating I thought that I should learn as well. I first started competing in 2008.
How do you train for STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®?
I try to do event training after work and weekends.

What advice would you give to young female athletes interested in competing in the sport?
Find a mentor, never hesitate to ask questions, practice and never give up.
