How did you get involved in lumberjack sports?
When I was at Virginia Tech with their Forestry Club.
When did you begin participating/competing in STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series?
In 2010, I competed in the Southern Collegiate series, and made it to the finals.
How do you train for STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®?
I train fitness and strength 4-5 days a week and event train 2-3 days a week.
What's your best/strongest STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® discipline?
Springboard
Any advice for the collegiate competitors?
Get well acquainted with several professional athletes and train with them as much as you can from day 1.
What's your proudest moment in the sport?
Hosting my first Lumberjack show in the Fall of 2018 as a way of giving back to the sport.
