When did you begin participating/competing in lumberjack sports and the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series?
I began participating in the events for kids when I was 8 and have been a STIHL competitor for 5 years.

How did you get involved in lumberjack sports?
From about the age of 8, I would travel around to various community logging shows with my dad who was an avid competitor.

Are you related to any current or former STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series competitors? No

How do you train for the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series and other lumberjack competitions?
I have built an area on my property for year-round practice and also enjoy lifting weights. When I can, I get together with other competitors to practice and get feedback.

Any advice for the younger competitors?
It's a great time. Practice hard and enjoy it.
