When did you first start participating in lumberjack sports?
I started participating in lumberjack sports in 2005 when I attended FLCC. I, then, continued at Paul Smith’s College where I won the 2008 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Collegiate Championship, and in 2009 I competed in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® series.

How did you get involved in lumberjack sports?
When I was in college at FLCC a couple of my classmates were on the team and said I should come out and try it. I was hooked from the first swing of that racing axe.

Are you related to any current or former STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series competitors?
No

Any advice for younger competitors?
Learning the basics and perfecting them takes time and effort.

Love to be outside whether it is hunting or fishing
